Our very own Dr Fiona Warton is an executive committee member of The Australian Veterinary Behaviour Interest Group (AVBIG). They are pleased to be hosting a series of educational seminars on canine and feline behaviour in September 2015.
Pet owners will have the opportunity to attend the evening seminars where they will learn why dogs may find some social situations stressful and how to help them develop the appropriate skills to relax and enjoy the many activities we want to share
with them. The “Talking with dogs and cats” session will provide owners with a better understanding of what their pet is trying to tell them about how they feel emotionally and also to respond more appropriately with their own body language.
