Slug and snail bait that claim to be ‘pet safe’ simply have a bitter taste to act as a deterrent - some pets will STILL eat these highly toxic baits and ingestion (even in small amounts) can be fatal. Consider whether these baits are absolutely necessary in your garden.

Spring is in the air and it’s time to get out in the garden! To keep your pet safe avoid potentially poisonous plants such as rhododendrons and azaleas, daffodil (the bulbs are poisonous) and daphne. lilies, if ingested, can cause kidney failure in cats so if in doubt, pull them out!
